Vanity led light desk lamp (VLVL) is an Australian startup that is creating a smart lamp that transforms the existing lamps in your home into smart light bulbs.
The lamp will have the ability to connect to smart home devices, enabling them to be controlled remotely.
“The first step in that process is to create a lamp that’s more like the Philips Hue lighting system, with all of the features that you get from Philips Hue, plus a bunch of new features,” Vanity founder and CEO Paul VanDeMuyten told Digital Trends.
“The other thing is, as soon as you start to build up a bunch more of the products in that space, you need to get into the market.”
For the consumer, the lamp is being released for a couple of different reasons.
One is that it is an easy way to install a new LED bulb on a new light fixture.
Another is that the lamp uses a standard Led light bulb that is already being used in existing lighting fixtures.
The LED light bulbs will be sold at a range of different prices.
The Led light bulbs cost between $20 and $50 each.
The company is currently raising $3.5 million in a crowdfunding campaign that ends on October 29.
VanDeMillen hopes to hit $15 million by the end of the year.
“What I’m really excited about is that we’re really focused on this one product, and this one thing,” he said.
“We really are trying to create something that is going to be the first smart light bulb for every home in Australia.”
The company’s products are designed to meet a variety of needs, from lighting and lighting accessories to lighting accessories and accessories for smart lights.
“It’s a big opportunity for us because of the cost,” VanDeMeutten said.
“We’ve built a whole range of smart bulbs for the home that are incredibly affordable.”
A lot of the technology for these products is already out there.
“It’s like if you have a bunch, let’s say, two bulbs that are different, they’ll be pretty similar, so it’s a really interesting opportunity to really take those things and create a new product from the ground up,” he added.
“For example, we can have a smart light that will actually turn on when the lights go off, or we can make a light that automatically switches on when you turn the lights off, and that’s kind of the same thing that we have here.”
